It's A Parade
Here's a parade celebrating the United State's of America's 250th anniversary that didn't cost any money to put together and does not feel like the thing a dictator would do.
For more information and more individuals, please check out William C. Nell's "The Colored Patriots of the American Revolution" or Joseph T. Wilson's "The Black Phalanx". Both are in the public domain and were heavily referenced for this parade. There's also George Quintal's "Patriots of Color" study from 2004.
This parade was created entirely in bitsy, a game making tool by Adam Le Doux.
Cover art comes from the Wikipedia page for Crispus Attucks.
If anyone has suggestions on people I neglected to mention or advice on how to make the parade look better, please leave a comment.
